Leslie Jose Zigel - CEO and Secretary of White Buffalo Entertainment Holdings, LLC

Leslie Zigel is the principal attorney of ZIGLAW, Miami's premier bi-lingual multi-media entertainment law practice, located on Miami Beach's Lincoln Road. His practice focuses on counseling international and domestic entertainment-related clients, both on the creative and business sides. His clients and matters include: recording artists, songwriters and record producers, authors, film & television writers, producers, directors, actors and on-air television and radio personalities; multinational and independent recording, publishing, film and television production media companies; radio, television, cable and satellite networks; internationally renowned performing arts centers; recording studios; entertainment software developers, digital delivery services and content providers; celebrity endorsements for consumer products companies; and strategic advice focusing on business development and branding development for his clients

Before opening ZIGLAW, Zigel was a shareholder and head of the entertainment law department in Greenberg Traurig's Miami office. He was selected by fellow attorneys for the prestigious publications Best Lawyers in America (2006 and 2008) and Florida Super Lawyers (2006 and 2007). Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Zigel was Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs with BMG's Latin American Regional Office and General Counsel for BMG U.S. Latin.

Before studying law, he was a producer at Festival Productions Inc. in New York City producing numerous music festivals (Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, JVC Jazz Festivals, Mellon Jazz Festivals, Playboy Jazz Festival, Smirnoff Friendship Concerts, and The Boston Globe Jazz Festival). While at Festival Productions, he also directed several entertainment-related marketing initiatives for Fortune 500 companies (American Express Platinum Card By Invitation Only, American Express Gold Card Events and the Miller Maquina Musical).

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Zigel is a formidable jazz and rock bassist having had the privilege of sitting in with musicians such as Branford Marsalis, Kenny Kirkland, Lewis Nash, Nestor Torres and George Terry.

Mr. Zigel is active in the arts community having served on the boards of the GRAMMYs, National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, City of Hope Latin Entertainment Initiative and the Southwestern University School Of Law Entertainment Institute. He is a frequent lecturer at both the University of Miami and Nova Southeastern Schools of Law. He is fluent in Spanish and has been a featured guest on Spanish language television programs on Univision Network and on CNN en Espanol. He is often quoted in major periodicals for his perspectives on the rapidly changing entertainment industry.
